How hard it gets

PopWord aims a little above where you are.

Most words match your level and a few reach past it. Check-ins move you up.

What permissions does it need?

Internet, plus notifications if you turn on reminders. No camera, microphone, location, or contacts.

Will it teach me a language on its own?

No. It builds vocabulary alongside whatever else you are doing.

Practice is untimed and keeps your words fresh. A check-in is a timed test that opens the next stop on your map.
